| “On The QT ” DvcproHD 1080p color. Position: Dp, Editor, Colorist. A private detective is hired to follow a woman's husband and find out if he is being unfaithful. This was a spec/ spoof commercial shot for a private detective agency. Produced and Directed by Matt Sutherland. |
For this piece we were going for the "Sin City" look: high contrast film noir with selective color desaturation. Most of the coloring was done in After Effects as well as the compositing. The opening shot was actually done at dusk and then colored to look like night, I then motion tracked the shot and added the moon and stars. |
